Description
The Artisans' Market spreads through the open stalls around Lyabi-Hauz, and everything here is handmade: chased copper trays, gold-embroidered robes, skullcaps, knives and carved woodwork. Behind most stalls stands the maker in person, happy to explain how a piece was made. Prices run below the boutiques and bargaining is expected. After dark the stalls light up and the market turns into an evening promenade.
