Description
Silk Road Spices is a family teahouse beside the trading domes, run by a dynasty that has dealt in spices for three generations. The menu offers signature teas with saffron, ginger and cinnamon, dozens of nut sweets and halva, and coffee brewed the eastern way in hot sand. Tea is served in traditional piala bowls from copper pots. The spices themselves are also for sale, each batch hand-sorted by the family.
