Description
This house museum occupies the residence built in the late 19th century by the wealthy merchant Ubaydullo-khoja; his son Fayzulla Khojaev, later a leading statesman, grew up here. Divided into outer and inner courtyards, the house preserves carved ceilings, ganch niches and original furnishings. The exhibition recreates the daily life of a prosperous Bukharan family, from guest-room etiquette to kitchen utensils. Visitors can also dress in traditional costume for photographs.
